an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim […]
a piece of planned work or an activity that is finished over a period of time and intended to achieve a particular purpose […]
a task that requires a lot of time and effort […]
There are many definitions for a project, but all agree on the achievement of a final aim as well as the effort needed. Projects are in fact as varied as their definitions, which make them unique and each time different.
And because each project is different and never goes exactly as planned, project management can’t definitely not be seen as a precise science or the application of a perfect methodology. Of course, methodology is key to drive a project, but can’t works alone. All parameters, specificities and context need to be taken in account before starting anything.
That’s why, we will always start our journey with you by listening to your needs, your aims and how you define your own project. And of course, we can apply methodology to help you achieve your goals, it could be Agile, Prince 2 … but it will always be adapted to your project needs and leave room for creativity. The same applies all along the project cycle, and depending on the events (planned or not), the approach may need to be reviewed, adapted, as well as the initial methodology chosen. Another definition of a project could be a constant movement to reach a final aim. Anticipating these changes and be able to adapt and constantly find suitable solutions is the very essence of project management.
This is our approach, based on methodology and experience but most important always focused to YOUR specific context and evolution.
